Taraji P. Henson Is Taking Over An Iconic Mel Gibson Movie Role in WHAT MEN WANT [VIDEO]

Helen Hunt and Mel Gibson costarred in the original version (WHAT WOMEN WANT) from Paramount Pictures in 2000, where Mel played a chauvinistic executive who gains the ability to hear what women are really thinking after an accident. It was a box office smash, with a $70 million dollar budget turning in a world wide take of over $374,000,000. That film was really more of a Rom-Com than this new version seems to be, and it has always resided in my “Top 5 Fav Mel Gibson movies” list.

What Men Want, starring Golden Globe winner Taraji P. Henson, directed by the awesome Adam Shankman, and based on the original Nancy Meyers film, will be in theaters this January. This time around the story is about a woman is boxed out by the male sports agents in her profession, but gains an unexpected edge over them when she develops the ability to hear their thoughts.

Something to look forward to, as the number of celeb cameos appearing in the movie is huge. It even has SHAQ!
