20th Century Fox is tying to set the world ablaze. X-Men’s Dark Phoenix is one of the franchise’s most iconic story lines in it’s marvelous history. I’m very excited that this will make it to theaters before the potential Disney buyout of the characters. But…just with an book to movie adaption, there are some variances between the story lines. It looks as though Professor X is catching some heat here, suppressing Jean Grey’s memories of killing her parents, and through the troubles and turmoils of puberty, when most mutants powers truly develop, things start to go haywire. Jean reaches out to everyone’s favorite villain Magneto, played by Michael Fassbender, for guidance and the star studded cast sets out for adventure.

With the Disney buyout of 20th Century Fox’s rights to these Marvel characters, this could be the last time we see the likes of Evan Peters, James McAvoy, Sophie Turner, Nicholas Hoult, Tye Sheridan, and Jennifer Lawrence taking up these iconic characters. X-men Dark Phoenix hits theaters February 19th and kick off 2019 officially as the year of the superhero!
