Earlier today, Fox announced that The Simpsons has been renewed for two more seasons, per a report from Variety. The show is currently in its 30th season and will continue through it’s 32nd season. Until now, “Gunsmoke” had held the record with 29 seasons.

The Simpsons debuted back in 1989, created by cartoonist Matt Groening, and was an immediate hit.

Dan Castellaneta (Homer), Julie Kavner (Marge), Nancy Cartwright (Bart), and Yeardley Smith (Lisa) will continue staring in the show through season 32.
