It’s going to be an extremely emotional and sad, sad day…the end of Big Bang Theory, and the final episode has just been announced and set to air May 16th.

We’ve been crying, the cast has been crying, and nobody is actually ready for it to be over.

BUT, after twelve seasons, and no clue as to how the series will end, one thing we do know is that Jim Parsons (Sheldon) and Kaley Cuoco (Penny) want the sitcom to end the same way fans do…“fix the elevator.”

“That’s one of my wishes for the final episode,” says Parsons. “The elevator gets fixed, at least for a minute, and then we all get stuck in it.”
