Beware The GAME OF THRONES Fans Calling In Sick Monday

The series finale of Game of Thrones could make your commute to work a little easier Monday morning.

According to a survey done by Kronos, 27 million people plan to watch the “Game of Thrones” series finale and skip work, be late for work, or work from home the following day. Six percent of people in the survey flat-out said they plan on using a vacation day.

Honestly, it might be a good idea for many GOT fans to take mental holiday, because they might not have recovered from their anger about how show ends.
Already their is a petition to redo season 8 with better writers.

From EW.com

The show’s final season has had its share of controversial creative choices — from an underlit and under-deadly Battle of Winterfell to the execution of the sole prominent woman of color left in the cast — but last week’s penultimate episode, “The Bells,” launched a whole new set of complaints. (Daenerys’ Mad Queen turn was unearned! Cersei and Jaime’s death was anticlimactic! Seriously, what the hell was ever up with Euron Greyjoy?) So now, some irate fans have launched a Change.org petition urging HBO to remake the final season without Emmy-winning writer-show runners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss.

The petition argues that Benioff and Weiss “have proven themselves to be woefully incompetent writers when they have no source material (i.e. the books) to fall back on. This series deserves a final season that makes sense. Subvert my expectations and make it happen, HBO!”

HBO did not immediately respond to EW’s request for comment.

As of today, Thursday May 16th. 2019 at 10:30am, 420,568 have signed that petition. If you want to add your name, click HERE.

I’m happy/sad that the final Sunday show is here. All good things must come to an end.
