The winners of the first-ever Apple Music Awards have been announced.
The awards celebrate artists who have “dominated the conversation all year.”
Artists were honored in five categories, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Global Artist of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, and Breakthrough Artist of the Year.
Billie Eilish walked away with Artist of the Year, for WHEN WE FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? Album of the Year and Songwriter of the Year which she shared with her brother, Finneas.
Lizzo won Breakout Artist of the Year and Lil Nas X won song of the year for “Old Town Road.” Billie Eilish will perform at the Apple Music Awards on December 4th at the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park. The event will be live streamed. Lizzo also mad headlines for her recent ‘au naturel’ body positive instagram photos.
