There will be a lot of us hitting the road and flying high this holiday season.

AAA predicts a record number of over 115 million people will travel somewhere between December 21st and January 1st.

This is a 4 percent increase over last year and the largest amount of people estimated since AAA started predicting travel numbers in 2000.

Almost 105 million people are expected to drive to their destination. Nearly 7 million people will fly somewhere and almost 4 million will take their journey on either a bus, train or cruise ship.
