I grew up in Central Illinois and spent much of my childhood talking into a Fisher Price tape recorder. Thus, my parents quickly gave me a pair of headphones. I remember getting quite the scolding for placing those headphones on my baby sister's ears and blasting the volume! Hey, I just wanted to share some great music, which was probably a tape of Raffi crooning, "Baby Beluga." I'm not saying this was that big moment where I realized I wanted to pursue radio (good grief, I was only about four-years-old). However, talking, pushing buttons, and playing music have always been a big part of my life. Somehow this always felt like the right fit.

So... I graduated from Illinois State University, got married, and quickly made Bloomington-Normal my home! Below is the rest of my 411. 

Interests: my hubby, my dog, laughter, sunshine, traveling, super hero movies, good comedy, pop culture, dirty jokes, a good burger, sweets, vanilla coke, and Conan O'Brien

Favorite Music: Lady Gaga, All American Rejects, Jimmy Eat World, Owl City, Paramore, Third Eye Blind, Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, anything from Glee, Hanson (yes, as in Mmmbop... don't judge me), and any old school Britney, NSYNC, and BSB--takes me back to a simpler time haha

Favorite TV: American Idol, Glee, House, The Biggest Loser, So You Think You Can Dance, The Office, Modern Family, Dog Whisperer, reruns of Friends, SNL, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, and Conan's new show on TBS (yeah, I already know I will love it!)
