 Susan's Bad girl book club

Sometimes we good girls (and boys) fall in love with really trashy (i.e. BAD) books. Oprah can have her respectible book club, but I love action adventure romance novels. Honestly, I really crave the paranormal romance novels. I used to be really embarrassed about it, but I found out I am not alone. Not by a long shot.

So here is my current recommendation list for bad book enthusiasts just like me. Down below my favorites is a list of books I have been told I must read next. Add your favorites to the list by sending me an email with the form on the right.

  • Everyone said:Sherrilyn Kenyon Dark Hunter series and League Series
  • Suzanne adds: Christine Feehan. "Her Dark Series is great.  Vampire romance. You will love it."
(Susan has now read it and agrees!)

  • Jessica added: Stephane Plum series by Janet evanovich. Stephanie is a cool bounty hunter who is stuck between two loves and her cars are always getting blown up or destroyed. Great hilarious series!

  • Penny added:Kerrelyn Sparks -They are trashy vampire love stories. My friends and I LOVED them! (Susan enjoyes Ms. Sparks style)

  • Juanita says: My son enjoys the Darren Shan series and Cirque de freak and he Demon series. The other new ones are the Hunter series by Suzanne Collins. Only two in that series.

  • Andrea added:J.R. Ward -- Black Dagger Brotherhood novels. They are SO GOOD! I seriously recommend them. I read the ENTIRE 434 page book in LESS than 2 days. (Susan inhaled these. Excellent!)

  • Nikki Added: Jonathan Kellerman - Rage, or any of his books- Murder/Mystery

  • Becca added:Diana Gabaldon--Outlander Series.(You do have to read them in order! 7 so far)

  • Becky added:
    • Christine Warren's "The Others" series. "This series pretty much has everything from the supernatural world from vampire and werewolf's to demons and fairies and the complications of unveiling themselves to humans.  Adults Only!

    • Vampire Academy from Richelle Mead. I love this series there are currently 4 books out with the 5th due out in May.  I believe the author is planning for it to be a 6 book series.  I would actually say that I like this series better than Twilight and that is saying a lot!  Good for Teens and Adults!

    • Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare.  Now this is a good trilogy and suggested to me by my mother after I finished the Twilight Series.  They are good books but may turn some people off because of a plot twist... Just keep reading they are definately worth it! Good for Teens and Adults!!

  • Anastasia added:
    • Keri Arthur- Riley Jenson Guardian Series. It starts with Full Moon Rising so far there are 8 books. Werewolves, vampire, everything! ADULTS ONLY (Susan now loves these too!)

    • Patricia Briggs- Mercy Thompson Series. I think there are 4 in the series.

    • Kelley Armstrong- Women of the Otherworld series.
