On Saturday September 15, the annual "Race For The Ring" with Bremer Jewlery and WBNQ took place throughout Bloomington Illinois. Teams of two, wearing matching red shirts, scoured the downtown area to find answers to text message questions being fed into their phones. After 2 hours on foot, one very special team was declared victorious due to their overwhlemingly high point total.

Clare Buchs and Bill Malott are the proud new owners of a $10,000 BeLoved engagement ring from Bremer Jewelry. This was their third attempt at winning the "Race For The Ring". Bill told the other competitors on Saturday that after coming so close last year, Clare had told him they WOULD compete again, but he had NO excuse to wait any longer to get her a ring. Clare was sporting a lovely engagement ring previously purchased at Bremer during the race, and is considering wearing her new ring as a right hand ring.

Bill and Clare have a November 3rd, 2012  wedding date scheduled in Nashville. Congratulations to the lucky couple and to the prize winning runners up :Dawn Peters and Diana Craig (2nd place) & Brian Southy and Abby Fitzpatrick (3rd place)
