Last Saturday about 300 people jumped in Miller Park lake - which was clocking in at a tropical 34 degrees - to raise money for Special Olympics Illinois. I was one of them and somehow I survived. Thanks to you and everyone who participated two really incredible things happened:
1. This was the biggest Polar Plunge in the state.
2. We took in over $125,000 for Special Olympics Illinois and I can't put into words how amazing that is.
HUGE thanks to everyone who donated and to the plungers. Here are some highlights from the day that include a mankini and our new friend Joe (he's in the American flag trunks) who is a Special Olympian and came all the way from Arizona to plunge with us. It was an awesome experience and yes, I'll do it again.
