So, this is Dee Dee! No, not the dog the bass player for a band called The Ramones.

BACKING UP; when Schmitty and I got this dog from the Humane Sociotey, her name was Dee. Schmitty wanted to change it to something a little more New York centric like Bleeker or Brooklyn, but I said that you can't change the dog's name because she is already 5 years old, so it'd be wrong!

She has since pointed out that she would have been able to learn a new name, but by then it was too late... we had comited to keeping the name Dee.

Then, in the process of joking around with her, I started calling her Dee Dee Dogmoan and it seems to have stuck... so, I can say that I didn't re-name her, but I can say I modified it to reflect one of the bog parts of my life.
