It sounds awesome, but epic naps have kinda ruined the life of a girl from Pennsylvania. Nicole Delion has a medical disorder called Kleine-Levin Syndrom, which causes her to go into a state that is like sleeping, but is really more of a "delirium." When Nicole has an attack, she goes to "sleep" for lengthy periods of time, waking up only to eat, drink and use the restroom.
In fact, she was supposed to meet Katy Perry at a concert, but missed the chance because she was in the middle of her longest nap ever -- a 64-day sleep that started before Thanksgiving and lasted until after New Year's. (For the record, when Katy found out what had happened, she made a point to reschedule a time to visit with Nicole.)
Doctors say she'll eventually grow out of the disorder -- it usually only lasts between eight and fourteen years. It's also super rare: only an estimated 1,000 people have it in the whole world.
