In case you forgot, he's an amazing actor.

 

This is not something that I ever really go a day without thinking - not since I saw him as James Gordon in Batman Begins. At first, I was like "who is the great guy I've never seen before that they found to play Gordon. He looks like him, acts like him, IS him!" Then, I IMDB'd him and that only blew my mind further apart.

 

Any guy who can play Sid Vicious, who is the picture of an outlaw, all the way to the face of order, Jim Gordon is second to none. To say nothing of Count Dracula, Lee Harvey Oswald, Beethoven, Pontius Pilate, Dr. Smith, the Devil, Elvis and that's not even THINKING about all of the original characters he has created in his other works.

 

So, in case it's never occured to you, Gary Oldman is simply amazing - and if you run into him, you can tell him that I said so.
