The company behind the biggest super hero movie of all time has made a little announcement... Ant-Man will hit theaters November 6th, 2015 - shortly after The Avengers sequel, creatively titled The Avengers 2.

I admit that I know nothing about Ant-Man, but I'm still kind of excited about this movie, which is not necisarily the norm in Nerdville. 

As to be expected, there are cries that between this and (what looks like a child's nightmare The Gardiesn Of the Galaxy) that Marvel Studios has already jumped the shark. The same studio that made almost one and a half BILLION dollars this summer as already lost it's way?!

Granted, we are going to hit a saturation point with these comic book movies (and either of those two could be it) but I think that it's a little early to start doubting the defending champs.  I think that they've built-up enough good will with almost 5 year of solid movies to take a swing or two on these (admitedly more outragous) ideas.

Let's at least get the champs back on the field before we all start sitting in the stands with paper bags over our heads.
