On Friday March 1st, two lovely roller derby ladies invaded the WBNQ morning show. McLean County Missfits team members :"Assaultine Cracker Jacker" and "Brown Sugar Bombshell". You can call em April and Jackie when they aren't wearing wheels. On the WBNQ PODCAST Page you can hear what you missed on the show for free.

Watch the documentary "Derby Baby!" to learn about the realities of this emerging sport which is much more real that most people realize.

Doors open at The Castle Theater at 7pm, showtime at 8pm. Tickets are $10 at the door and raffle prizes are available during the evening. Stay for the arm wrestling matches after the movie! All proceeds help benefit the not for profit Mclean County MissFits Roller Derby team which is about to begin their 3rd season in the twin cities.

• March 1st 4:30 to 7:30pm-YWCA
• Must pre-register
• skate rental available
• $10 fee
• Must be 21 or older to participate

(also need refs, volunteers, and other positions besides players

This bout will benefit Big Brothers& Big Sisters

Doors open at noon with 1st bout at 1pm.

This league became official in December 2012- Graduated to full WFTDA membership. (The governing body of this sport is called The Women's Flat Track Derby Association).
