Tim Armstrong's version may not be your cup of tea, but I post it here for a couple of reasons.
First of all, he is my favorite musician. Granted, I know that he's not the worlds best singer, so you needn't point that out, but what can I say? Waffle House is garbage and I love that too.
More on topic, he actually wrote this song with (for) Pink, so for that reason alone I think it's worth a listen.
Anecdotally, Tim was on tour with one of his own bands while writing the record with her (in NEW JERSEY of all places) when they recorded the vocals for this song on his tour bus. They weren't meant to be the final vocals, but he said that, no matter how many times they tried to rerecord them in an actual studio back in LA, there was just something about the performance she gave that day that they could never beat... so, they kept the original from the bus (and won a Grammy with it.)
All of that being said, I did find myself singing this version almost no stop since I heard it. Hope you do too!
