WARNING: Do not read this blog if you like cheese, caramel, crunch snacks, or are on a diet right now. You will not be able to resist this recipe!

I have fallen in love with the website INSTRUCTABLES.com. It is a site where users can learn from or teach you how to make/do things in a step by step process( with photos included).  While similar to Pinterest, it's a little more streamlined, and easier to search through for more basic needs, like how to play poker or retread a bicycle tire.

While searching for instructions on how to recaulk a bathtub, I stumbled upon a recipie which I now wished I had never seen. You see, I love Cheetos, but I now try to avoid both sugar and gluten in my daily diet. Sweet and salty snacks are my weakness, and the following headline shocked me to the core:

Caramel-Coated-Cheetos

What??????!!!!!??????? Where was this idea before I couldn't eat them?

Instructables Member Pueo wrote below their recipie submission:

Warning, this is an addictive snack!  Salty, sweet, light.  I made about eight batches and gave most of it away.  It was safer for me that way or I would have overindulged.

Here is the ingredients list if you are ready to create this food of the gods:

2 ea  8oz Lay’s Natural White Cheddar Cheetos
1 cup butter
2 cups light brown sugar
½ cup light corn syrup
½ tsp salt
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp cream of tartar
½ tsp vanilla

Click HERE for the incredible step by step photo instructions on the assembly of this amazing snack food.

Enjoy making others happy with this idea, but please don't ever share them with me. I'm going to treat Carmel Coated Cheetos like I would any other addictive substance, if I don't ever try it, then I won't know what I am missing.

Do try out instructables.com though. What a great new bookmark for my computer.
