Yep.  That right there is a Rolodex.  If you're not aware of what a Rolodex is, it's a little box with cards that have the names, addresses and phone numbers of people that you may need to contact.  Back in the day, this is how people stayed organized.  Today, that whole thing fits on my phone.

And yet, I carry it with me to every new job like a small plastic security blanket.

It's been sitting on my desk since I started at WBNQ, and I haven't opened it once.  In other words, it's completely unnecessary...but I can't bring myself to trash it.  Cause you know, I may need it someday.

What outdated stuff do you keep around just because you feel like you have to?
