Yes, Arrested Developement is coming back, but this time it will be exculusively on Netflix. Want to win a walk on role?
Netflix announced that they will give away six walk-on roles for “super fans” to make an appearance in the show. To be eligible for a moment of greatness, you must submit an original Arrested-themed creation — video, photo, piece of art, etc by October 16th. Details on the “You’re Gonna Get Some Walk-Ons Contest” (a nod to the classic line about the Bluth’s stair car) are available right here.
Check out this video, in which Arrested star Michael Cera reunites with an old friend while giving series creator Mitchell Hurwitz his hearty endorsement of the contest.
Six years after the series had been canceled by Fox, filming for a revived fourth season began on August 7, 2012. Between 10 and 13 new episodes will debuting on Netflix in early 2013. Several actors who had recurring roles in the original series are scheduled to reprise their roles, including Henry Winkler as Barry Zuckerkorn, Mae Whitman as Ann Veal, Scott Baio as Bob Loblaw, Judy Greer as Kitty Sanchez, and Liza Minnelli as Lucille Austero; while John Slattery is scheduled to appear in multiple episodes as an unknown character.
