Since I am heading off soon for a sun soaked vacation with lots of drinky drinks and hot peppers in Mexico, I thought I would look into a strange phenomena we all sometimes experience where you get a burning sensation after eating/drinking something that is not hot in temperature. What causes the “burning my face off” feeling?
