How To Bake Not Boil Your Easter Eggs [VIDEO]

Andy Corbin is way better at making cute eggs.

Andy Corbin and I decided it would be fun to decorate Easter eggs during the morning show. Right before I fell asleep, I remembered the part where I was supposed to provide the hard boiled eggs for our craft project. Up from my bed I hopped to the kitchen to grab a cooking pot and start the boiling process.

My way of cooking eggs has always been a variation of bringing the salted water and eggs to a boil, shutting off the burner, putting a lid on the pot, and coming back 30 minutes to hours later and putting them in the fridge until I felt like peeling them. Which means peeling my eggs is never easy and clean.

While we were struggling to dye and decorate our eggs, which FYI works better with vinegar and water than just water for the PAAS kit, we got an unusual phone call.

“Do you guys know you can bake your eggs in the oven?”

Turns out there is a much simpler way to cook a hard boiled egg, and it doesn’t require boiling or water!
Check out Steve Reed’s easy solution and recipe:

To review:

-Preheat Oven to 325 degrees
-Place eggs in muffin tin
-Cook for 30 minutes
-Place in cold ice water

“Done! They peel super easily and they taste amazing.”–Says Steve

Thanks Steve! Can’t wait to try out this awesome life hack when deviled eggs or egg salad calls my name.
