Chewy Chips Ahoy! Cookies Recalled Over ‘Unexpected’ Ingredient

Are you a fan of Chewy Chips Ahoy? Well put that cookie down and double-check the package, because the company just announced a recall over an ‘unexpected’ ingredient.

Mondelez, the makers of Chips Ahoy, are blaming the recall on an unexpected ‘solidified ingredient’ that can lead to ‘potential adverse health effects’.

The easiest way to check is with the best-when-used-by date on the left side of the package – the recalled products are dated 07SEP2019, 08SEP2019, 14SEP2019, or 15SEP2019.  If you have a tainted product, either throw it out or take it back to the store for a refund.
