Ford Recalls Over 240K Vehicles To Fix Suspension Problem

Ford has announced a recall of more than 240,000 cars and SUVs because of an issue with the cars’ suspension systems.

Ford says that if the suspension moves a lot on a vehicle, the rear toe links can fracture and increase the risk of a crash

The toe link keeps the rear suspension stable and keeps the tires on the ground.

The recall involves 2013 through 2018 Ford Flex, Taurus police car, Taurus SHO and Lincoln MKT.

The company says it’s not aware of any crashes or injuries caused by the problem in this batch of recalled vehicles.

Owners of affected vehicles will be alerted starting March 2. Dealers will replace the toe links with stronger versions.
