A new study out of China says pregnant women infected with COVID-19 can pass the virus on to their babies.

Researchers studied 33 pregnant women, three of which gave birth to infants with the virus.  Fortunately, all three infants survived with only mild symptoms.

Doctors say the study shows it’s “crucial” to screen pregnant women and quarantine mothers who are infected.
