On May 19th, you can get your free donuts if you can prove you are graduating.

Are your plans to turn your tassel and toss your mortarboard in the air on hold? Don’t pack away those caps and gowns just yet.

High school and college seniors can get a free dozen doughnuts from Krispy Kreme on Tuesday, May 19th just by showing up in graduation gear. Or how about a 2020 class ring? That works too!

Here’s what you need to get a free dozen doughnuts:

  • Cap and gown with 2020 tassel
  • Class of 2020 apparel (t-shirt, sweatshirt, etc.)
  • 2020 letterman jacket featuring senior status
  • 2020 class ring
  • Graduation announcement featuring name with matching ID
  • Student photo ID featuring senior status
  • Other Class of 2020 senior swag

“The 2020 Graduate Dozen is available at participating Krispy Kreme shop locations only while supplies last.  Products may vary by market.  2020 high school or college senior must be physically present to redeem free 2020 Graduate Dozen on 5/19/20.  Participating locations may require ID.  Not valid for online ordering.”

Though grads can only score the the cute box of confections for free on May 19, any parents, friends, or relatives can purchase a box from May 18-24 via drive-through or online ordering to shower their favorite senior with sugar and well-deserved congratulations. “We wish [high school and college seniors] had that moment of walking across the stage and getting their diploma,” Krispy Kreme chief marketing officer Dave Skena said in a press release, referring to widespread pandemic-related cancellations of graduation ceremonies. “We can’t replace that, but we thought we could help them safely have a little fun and enjoy a special ‘Graduate Dozen’ on us.” Aww, Dave — you’re too kind!
