You have been cleaning and trying to get rid of clutter, but how to you handle the removal of your giant sized trash?

From CityBlm.org:

2020 Free Summer Bulk Waste Collection
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Free Spring Bulk Waste Collection that typically takes place from May 1-14 was postponed. This year, crews will be collecting bulk waste from July 6-17 for a Free Summer Bulk Waste Collection. All bulk waste for this collection period must be placed at the curb by 6:00 a.m. on the projected collection start dates on the included map. Click HEREĀ  for your neighborhood specific schedule and list of acceptable items.

Most interior remodeling debris is allowed, and furniture, but no liquids like paint and NO ELECTRONICS! Get those old flat screens and more to the Normal Self Serve Electronics Recycling Center which just reopened on June 15th.

Outside of Free Spring Bulk Waste Collection, Bloomington Public Works will charge: $25 per bucket for household bulk waste and $100 per bucket for sod, dirt, concrete, rocks and shingles. The 2nd yearly free Fall Bulk Waste Collection will take place in October.

Need you stuff picked up NOW? Use the City of Bloomington App and request a pick up!

Personally, I LOVE the Bloomington Citizen Convenience Center. I have been there many times to drop off bulk waste (after checking to see what is acceptable), and if you are a resident, there is no additional charge. The Bloomington Citizen Convenience Center is located at the corner of East Street and Jackson Street, south of the Bloomington Public Library.
