TV Executive Claims He Was Told Not To Look At Ellen Degeneres

An Australian television executive is claiming that he was told not to look at or talk to Ellen while visiting her show. Neil Breen told The Daily Mail Ellen’s producers advised him that, “no one is to talk to Ellen. You don’t talk to her, you don’t approach her, you don’t look at her.”

The Ellen DeGeneres Show is currently being investigated for having a “toxic work environment,” Breen described the staff as “walking on eggshells,” while he was on set. Breen does say he’s not sure if the instruction not to talk or look at Ellen came directly from Ellen or from staff.

Ellen’s executive producers Ed Glavin, Mary Connelly, and Andy Lassner, told E! News “For the record, the day to day responsibility of the Ellen show is completely on us. We take all of this very seriously and we realize, as many in the world are learning, that we need to do better, are committed to do better, and we will do better.”
