The USDA has recalled nearly 7,000 pounds of chicken salad because of mislabeling that leaves it “with undeclared food allergens”. Walnut Tree Premium white meat chicken salad could actually be Willow Tree’s cranberry walnut chicken salad.
Walmart has released a long list of locations that could have sold the chicken salad, including stores in Connecticut, Vermont, Rhode Island and New Hampshire. Other grocery stores in Maryland, Washington, D.C. and Virginia could have sold the recalled chicken salad, too.
The USDA says if you have the recalled deli item, do not open it, eat it or try to sell it.
