Matthew McConaughey said he may consider running for Texas governor one day.

When that day is? Not sure.

He said, “politics seems to be a broken business to me right now, and when politics redefine its purpose, I could be a hell of a lot more interested.”

The current governor of Texas is up for election in 2022.
