Biden’s German Shepherd Getting “INDOGURATION”

Joe Biden’s dog Major is historic for being the first White House rescue dog

Biden’s German Shepherd will be celebrated with his own “Indoguration”  fundraiser from the Delaware Humane Association and Pumpkin Pet Insurance.

Zoom at 3 p.m. ET this Sunday, Jan. 17, with The “Today” show’s Jill Martin will hosting the virtual event, which hopes to draw 1,000  dogs and their humans. This is also an attempt to set a record for the world’s largest Zoom call for dogs. The Delaware Humane Association is asking for a $10 minimum donation per guest, with 100% of proceeds directly supporting its animals in need.

“Let’s celebrate the first-ever shelter pup to become First Dog and raise $$$ to help more shelter animals like Major live the American Dream!”

As the pandemic related unemployment rates rise, many pet parents are faced with the heartbreaking decision of whether or not they need to surrender their animals to stay afloat financially. Record demand has been noted in 2020 for assistance from free pet food pantries and affordable veterinary care.

The Bidens adopted Major from the DHA shelter in 2018, and they intend to bring him and their other German shepherd, Champ, to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. The Bidens also have announced plans to adopt a cat in the future as well.
