If you happen to have butternut squash products made by Pero Family Farms with use-by dates between Jan. 13 and Jan. 22, the FDA says toss it now.

Due to concerns of a potential listeria contamination, there’s a recall on more than 30 of their packaged varieties of the winter vegetable.  The 33 items in question were sold in Louisiana, Florida, Texas, New York, Maine, Georgia, Ohio, Virginia, Alabama, Virginia, and Missouri.

Fortunately, the federal inspection agency notes, “no illnesses have been reported to date.”
