First America’s Sweetheart, Betty White, and now America’s TV dad, Bob Saget. The sudden passing of the actor has left fans shocked.

He was 65 at the time of his passing, found unresponsive in his hotel room in Florida.

Bob has been touring the country performing and was in Jacksonville, Florida. He performed a show Saturday night, and shortly after 4pm Sunday morning, police officers responded to a man-down call at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes hotel and discovered him unresponsive in a hotel room. No signs of foul play were found and he was pronounced dead at the scene. The Medical Examiner’s Office will determine a cause and manner of death at a later date.

Bob was best known as America’s TV dad for his beloved role as Danny Tanner on the 1990s sitcom “Full House”, as a host on on “America’s Funniest Home Videos,” and later as the voice on “How I Met Your Mother.” He was also known as a stand up comic for his not quite PG content.

Though we ask for privacy at this time, we invite you to join us in remembering the love and laughter that Bob brought to the world.”

His castmate and friend John Stamos was the first to comment on Saget’s death tweeting, “I am broken. I am gutted. I am in complete and utter shock. I will never ever have another friend like him, I love you so much Bobby.”

His TV daughter, Candace Cameron Bure also commented writing, “I don’t know what to say,” along with a broken heart emoji. “I have no words. Bob was one of the best humans beings I’ve ever known in my life. I loved him so much.”
