Billie Eilish Debuts New Melancholy Ballad ‘TV’ During Manchester Show

Billie Eilish debuted a new song, “TV” during her Manchester Show on Tuesday night (June 7). The singer said it was the first time she and Finneas had debuted a song live in five years.

While Finneas played the guitar Billie sang, “I don’t wanna talk right now/ I just wanna watch TV/ I’ll stay in the pool and drown/ So I don’t have to watch you leave/ I’ll put on Survivor just to watch somebody suffer/ Maybe I should get some sleep/ Sinking in the sofa while we all betray each other… What’s the point of anything?/ All of my friends are missing again/ That’s what happens when you fall in love,” Eilish sang in her signature husky whisper.

Eilish then cited recent events singing, “The internet’s gone wild watching movie stars on trial/ While they’re overturning Roe v. Wade,” before ending with the hypnotically repeated outro “Maybe I, maybe I, maybe I’m the problem.”

Eilish will perform at the “Overheated” climate conference in London from June 10-12, 16, and 25-26. Presented by Eilish + Feed and REVERB, this event will overlap with Eilish’s UK/Ireland tour dates and involve artists, climate activists, and designers “discussing the climate problem and their work to make a difference.”
