Ryan Seacrest is set to take over as the new host of Wheel of Fortune following Pat Sajak’s departure after 41 years.
During the April 8 episode of American Idol, Ryan surprised viewers with bringing Vanna onto the screen to help him introduce one of the performances that night. At the time, he shared photos of the moment on Instagram, while also teasing the two would be sharing the TV screen soon enough on Wheel of Fortune.
“The TV crossover you didn’t know you needed,” he captioned a trio of behind-the-scenes photos. “Look out for the legendary @officialvannawhite on #americanidol tonight and catch a glimpse of wheely exciting things to come!”
In this recent video promo, fans saw Ryan on the iconic soundstage alongside co-star Vanna White.
The clip teased their upcoming partnership on the show, with Ryan’s name flashing on the puzzleboard.
Pat Sajak’s final episode of Wheel of Fortune will air Friday, June 7, 2024. The episode will also be the current season 41 finale and was already taped on April 5th. All we know about Ryan’s first episode, is that it will air in September of 2024.
