Eminem Has Announced ‘The Death Of Slim Shady’

New Album ‘The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce) Coming This Summer

Before appearing at the NFL Draft, Eminem confirmed the summer release of his twelfth studio album, “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grace).”

After his NFL cameo, a promo for the album featuring a true crime reporter discussing Slim Shady’s demise appeared online.

Eminem’s longtime associate, 50 Cent, is then shown in a cameo. “He’s not a friend; he’s a psychopath,” he says. Eminem himself makes an appearance, stating, “I knew it was only a matter of time for Slim.”

Slim Shady has been Eminem’s alter ego since 1997’s “Slim Shady EP” and “The Slim Shady LP” two years later. He was first known as a controversial rapper since his character often delivered violent lyrics. He played the alter ego on “Guilty Conscience,” “’97 Bonnie and Clyde,” and “Kill You.”

Eminem released his last album, Music to Be Murdered By, in 2020.
