ADÉLA has released her debut studio album, PRIMA, a compact 11-track project that puts her pop ambitions and personal story at the center. Released September 4, the album arrives after a run of singles that expanded her audience and established her as one of Slovakia’s emerging international pop artists.
The release follows the growing success of Ain’t In LA, which became ADÉLA’s first entry on the Hot 100 and climbed as high as No. 61. The track also made her the first Slovak artist to appear on the chart.
PRIMA moves through electronic pop, dance-driven production and touches of hyperpop while giving ADÉLA space to explore ambition, relationships, identity and her path into the music industry. Songs including KGB, Nicole Kidman, Red Bottoms, Therapy and Ain’t In LA show different sides of that approach.
The album also connects back to ADÉLA’s background in ballet and her appearance on Dream Academy before launching her solo career. At just over 30 minutes, PRIMA serves as a concise introduction to the sound and personality she is developing as a solo pop artist.
