Many of us rolled our eyes when “America’s Next Top Model” called it quits after 22 cycles. Because, even though the show made us question our ;great” selfie skills, it was a brilliant concept that continued to suck us in. The show not only created a career for many, it gave people like Cycle 22’s winner, Nyle DiMarco, a man who happened to be deaf way into the modeling industry when many wouldn’t.
But just as all booty tooches must come to an end, so too can they be reborn. And thus ANTM is back on VH1 (Mondays at 10 p.m.). Host Tyra Banks serving only as exec producer now, but filling her pumps is Rita Ora.
Not only does the show have a new host, but a new panel including supermodel Ashley Graham. I can’t wiat to see how the new era plays out. But don’t get it twisted, “ANTM” is still about the thrills and humiliations of a modeling competition.
