This holiday season, you can make a real difference in Bloomington / Normal and McLean County. Donate to the Salvation Army to help provide food, warmth, and joy to those who need it most – or join a team to fundraise for our local communities.
Last year, 2,479,842 people received essential holiday assistance through the Salvation Army. Through toys drives, meal distribution, and the Angel Tree Program, we work to ensure everyone experiences the joy of the holidays.
Food insecurity is real: 59% of people struggle to put food on the table, and every night in the U.S., 17.4 million families go to bed hungry. Many more live in food deserts or rely on highly processed, low-nutrition meals. But hunger is curable – and you can help.
Each year, the Salvation Army provides more than 65,000 nutritious meals to seniors, children, and families in our community. From Head Start families to people living on the streets, we’re addressing both the immediate need and the root causes of food insecurity.
You can make a difference. Volunteer. Volunteer. Donate money. Donate food. Together, we can ensure everyone in our community has the food they need to thrive.
Give hope this holiday season. Give the gift of a meal.
