The 5 Bands You MUST See Day2 @ Lollapalooza

Ok, good job, you made it through day one.
Was this your first ever festival experience? Was it everything you ever imagined?! See anything crazy?
…are you ready for more?!?!

Hi
I’m John Davies of WBNQ (@RadioDavies)
Let’s check out Day2 of Lollapalooza.

I’d like to be the first to officially welcome you to the “weekend”. You’re going to see some bigger crowds than yesterday, and it’s only going to get worse as the weekend progresses.
Pro tip. find your secret shade spots early and make sure you have rendezvous spots with your friends post shows as your reception is probably going to be garbage. With that being said, let’s get into it!

Here are the 5 acts you can’t miss Day2:
…click the artist’s name for even more info!
….. I tried to give ya a little bit of everything, again.
……. want to see what you missed yesterday? Click here!

Janelle Monáe

She could pass as Prince’s daughter? I like to say she’s the Hip Hop St Vincent, either way do not miss this show. Janelle Monáe transcends musical genre’s and you’re not going to be able to stop dancing Friday night! Check here out at last years Grammys here.

Bishop Briggs

Oh cool you like Lorde?! Let’s add some more bass.
Wild Horses is my favorite, but you probably remember this one too.

NF

Your boy brings the fire. Don’t get me wrong, Let You Down is a great song, but if you enjoy song angry rap, this dude can spit.

Maggie Rogers

Honestly, there’s no one I ♥️ more in music right now. I discovered Maggie Rogers when she performed on SNL last year and I’ve been obsessed ever since. Her album “Heard It In A Past Life” is incredible from front to back. GO LISTEN TO ALL OF IT RIGHT NOW~!?@#

Tame Impala

I had an Ex show me Tame Impala, without the best thing to come out of that relationship.
Kevin Parker is one of the few people I consider “genius” level when it comes to music, anything and everything that he’s apart of instantly becomes better. Other people on this list… Kanye, Bon Iver, LP of RTJ, and Win Butler (as long as he’s not DJ Windows98)

Have a great Friday in Chicago, this will be the first of many situations where you’re going to want to see both headliners… pick the one you like the most and start at the other set. You always want the encore of your favorite band!
