According to a study from the University of Oxford, hanging out with your best friends twice a week can help your physical, mental and emotional health.
According to the study, women deal with stress better when around their friends due to Oxytocin which is the “love hormone” and men also benefit from hanging with the guys.
Guys, this is a thing for you too! “Bonds can be formed through a range of activities from team sports to male banter—or simply having a pint with your pals on a Friday night,” Dunbar continued. “However, the key to maintaining strong friendships is to meet up twice a week and do stuff with the four people closest to you.”
So what are you waiting for?! Call your BFF now, your health depends on it!
