A group of clowns are planning a Clown Lives Matter march for October 15th in Tucson, Arizona. Attendees are being asked to wear full clown makeup, masks and clown costumes.

A flyer advertising the march reads:

“This is a peaceful way to show clowns are not psycho killers. We want the public to feel safe, and not be afraid. So come out, bring the family, meet a clown and get a hug!”

The walk comes in response to a recent uptick in scary clown sightings and threats that have swept across the nation.
