The first Monday in May is the highly anticipated Met Gala. The theme for this year is Camp: Notes on Fashion. Inspired by Susan Sontag’s 1964 essay: Notes on Camp. Her essay is credited with introducing camp to the mainstream. The Met Gala this year is co-chaired by Lady Gaga and Harry Styles. Gaga took to Instagram to share her excitement about the event and to share that she has not shaved in four days. She posted a photo and she invited everyone to zoom in on her legs. She said not shaving really “completes the look.”
