‘Schitt’s Creek’ Wins First Emmy Award

Well it’s about time bébé; Schitt’s Creek just took home its first Emmy Award.

The Canadian export, which is the brainchild of Dan Levy and his famous father Eugene, grabbed the statue for outstanding casting for a comedy series on Thursday.

Each of the main stars was up for one, including Catherine O’Hara for outstanding lead actress, Eugene for outstanding lead actor, Dan for outstanding supporting actor and Annie Murphy for outstanding supporting actress.

The series, which just wrapped in April after 6 seasons, received a total of 15 nominations earlier this summer.
