Camila Cabello appeared on Friday’s Ellen show.

She spoke about her relationship with Shawn Mendes and how it was in the making a long time ago.

Cabello said, “I met him on the Austin Mahone tour like five or six years ago. I for sure had a crush on him there. We were stupid … I think we both had a crush, but we were being babies about it. But we’re grown now!”

Ellen DeGeneres showed footage from a 2016 Cabello performance where Mendes was playing in the background.
