What a memorable night for Vanna White and fans of Wheel Of Fortune!

Vanna has been on Wheel of Fortune for  37 years, but Monday was the first time she took a spin (see what I did there) at hosting the famous game show.  Pat Sajak fell ill with an intestinal blockage, but the show must go on and Vanna happily stepped into the hosting role for her friend. While the show was filmed weeks ago, Vanna only had a few hours to prepare before taping and admits she was rather nervous.

Reviews of Vanna’s hosting job were mixed. People on social media were torn with being supportive and criticizing how “awkward” she was leading the show. But, if you are a real fan of the show, this was a real treat to watch and a historical moment for the show. I thought Vanna did great, and really enjoyed watching her. She was real, and funny, and didn’t have a problem making fun of herself. Class Act!
